OneNote Clipper Review
Microsoft OneNote is a powerful note-taking application that lets users capture, annotate and save notes, images, drawings and other content. The software is free to download on Windows and Mac PCs, as well as for web, Metro-style and mobile devices.
OneNote Clipper is an application that lets you take a quick screenshot of any web page, and add it to your default OneNote notebook in a click. It works with Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox and Mac Safari.
The software works by displaying a dialog box, which lets you select the OneNote notebook, section and page where you want to add the screen clipping. Next, you can drag to select the area you would like to save.
To use this app, first make sure you have a OneNote account. If you don't, you'll be prompted to create one, which costs $20 per year.
You can also access this feature from within the OneNote browser, but that's not as useful for taking notes and recording ideas.
It's a bit confusing at first, but if you follow the instructions carefully, you can quickly take a note from anywhere on the web.
Depending on the website, you can choose to capture the full page, a region or an article. All of these clips can include a title and notes, and will save to your default OneNote folders.
You can then send the clip to any OneDrive notebook, including shared ones, for instant sync across all your devices. You can even edit and annotate it as you go.
